Which doctorate program allows installments? For example, you can pay per credit/course and not have to pay the whole thing at one time.
I know VUL is quite fast, yet you've to pay the whole thing at once. Are there any of them just like the VUL, but with installment plans and can be done 12-ish months?
Thank you all!

BALS or BACS? What would you do? |

Let me start by my goal first.
My goal is to get admitted into the OMSCS at Georgia Tech and get a Masters there. I am contemplating on whether I need a BACS to get into the program though. But I want the degree to stand on its own in case I decide against that in the future. Would you go for the CS or BALS yourself?
I am currently taking Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Operating Systems at TESU.
Artificial Intelligence and Operating Systems is kicking my ass and regret taking them at TESU but I had few options from the classes I had left. I didn't leave any easy classes for TESU unfortunately.
Most of it was paid through Pell Grants. I am planning on hopefully passing all 3. Next semester I plan to take the Capstone and the Cornerstone through mostly Pell Grants to complete the Residency requirement. From there I will be taking the remainder of the classes at Study.com.
Would you go for the BALS or the BACS?
Classes I am current taking at TESU right now:
Software Engineering
Artificial Intelligence
Operating Systems
Classes I will need for BALS Computer Science Minor:
Capstone
Cornerstone
Public Speaking
Intro to Programming
Computer Architecture
Data Structures
Classes I will need for BACS:

Cornerstone

Intro to Programming
Data Structures
Discrete Mathematics

Deciding on EdD Program (Help) |

I'm looking for a 12 to 16-month program that is fully asynchronous and offered by a non-profit institution. I was initially interested in South College, but the for-profit model and diploma mill reputation are turn-offs. Ideally, I’d like a program that leans more towards exams and testing rather than being heavily writing-intensive. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Study.com Has Ignored My Support Requests for Nearly a Month. Desperately Need Help. |

Hello, this is my first post on this site. I’ve been a longtime reader and have gotten so much great advice just by browsing the forum over the years. I decided to make an account today because this seems to be the only place where I’ve found helpful and informative answers regarding Study.com.
About a month ago, I contacted Study.com support because I was having issues with the Veriff ID verification required to take final exams. Their FAQ page mentioned that if you’re having issues with Veriff, you should contact support, so I did.
They emailed back the same day saying they would forward my request to an account specialist. I followed up several times via email and also left a voicemail, but I didn’t get another response for two weeks. When they finally replied, it was the exact same message, “We’ve forwarded your request to an account specialist and should have an update shortly.” After that, nothing.
I continued following up with emails and voicemails, explaining that I had a college transcript deadline and I was at risk of missing it. I was practically begging them to respond so I wouldn’t miss my chance to start college on time. But I got no reply in time, and unfortunately, I missed the deadline and had to delay my college start date.
I didn’t renew my subscription after that because I had literally wasted an entire month’s subscription waiting for a response. My courses were fully completed, I just needed to take the finals.
About a week and a half later, I received another reply. This time they apologized for the “experience” and gave me a “one-time courtesy month” of free access. But they still completely ignored the actual issue I’ve been trying to get help with.
I followed up again, clearly explaining the problem, and left more voicemails, but once again, no reply. It’s been another week since that last message, and I still haven’t heard anything.
At this point, I’m completely at a loss and don’t know how to move forward. Has anyone here experienced something similar? Is there any way to get in touch with an actual Study.com employee by phone, live chat, or through this forum?
I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!

Many Saylor courses expiring April 30th 2025 |

Saylor continues to struggle to maintain its Direct Credit catalog of ACE-reviewed courses. Long-time DegreeForum members may recall the issue recurring every few years, as Saylor can't seem to muster the resources to renew its ACE recommendations on schedule.
Currently, over 70% of the catalog is set to expire on April 30th of this year - just over a month from now. Saylor already announced that nine courses (20% of the catalog) will not be renewed, and they expect gaps even on courses that do end up passing review.
Quote:Note: nine courses expiring in April 2025 will not be renewed: BUS202, BUS305, CS105, POLSC201, POLCS221, PHYS101, PHYS102, MA121, MA005. Plan to complete these courses before April 30th. To access all three allowed exam attempts before that date, you must make your first attempt no later than April 2nd. We will seek renewal for other courses expiring in April, but (assuming successful renewal), there may be a period after April for which exams are not available for expiring courses.
There are some key courses in the list, though alternatives exist. It's disappointing that Saylor still can't get a handle on its ACE portfolio, yet is forging ahead with the MBA program. I wonder where their priorities are long-term.
If you have any Saylor courses on your to-do list, make sure to complete any impacted ones before 04/30/2025.

6 courses left, now just to figure out what to take |

I have 6 courses left to take at UMPI to graduate. 3 of which need to be Upper Level, the other 3 could be either upper or lower. These 6 will need to be completed by the end of Spring II. These are just to meet my residency requirement and complete the UL BLS requirement so they can be anything I want them to be. I went through the catalog and highlighted the courses that look interesting to me. I bolded the ones that would probably help my career or fill knowledge gaps the most, I don't need to take the bolded ones, especially if they are one's that will be difficult to complete before the end of term. Anyone have feedback on which of these I should stay away from?
I'm going for my BLS with minors in Criminal Justice & Pre-Law (All of those requirements have already been met). Background on me I've been in the workforce for over 20 years, working in Environmental Health and Safety, Corporate Security Management, I've worked for police departments in the past but not as a sworn LEO. After completing this degree, I want to get my master's in criminal justice and then PhD. With those degrees I want to do research and teach.
