Hello everyone. I'm in need of some wisdom from the brain trust. Way back in 2008 when it was still TESC, I CLEP'd out of a BA in Liberal Studies and went into the Army. They decided to make me an IT nerd and gave me experience and a bunch of certs. Fast forward to today and I'm getting ready to retire. On almost every single IT job board post, they're wanting applicants to have a BS in IT. So here I am. I did my research and decided to get a 2nd bachelors degree vs a masters. 

I had TESU evaluate all my credits and I only had like 10 classes to do. Study.com made that too easy, so now I'm down to four classes and a capstone left. I need:

CMP-3540 Network Technology
ITS-3630 Windows Server Configuration
ITS-3400 Wireless and Mobile Networking
CYB-4500 Cloud Computing (Google Cloud Data Analytics Professional Certificate?)
Capstone

If anyone could help me with options to knock out these classes as fast as I can, I'd appreciate it! I have experience in all these areas, so TECEP or PLA? I'm just trying to figure out options because I'm cheap and don't want to give TESU any more money

I went out for a walk and as I turned the corner I see a sign "India Modi University". I was like wtf.
It's just a small shop. It used to be a smoke shop / convenience store type of place.
So I try to walk in but the door was locked.

I called the number on the door. The guy said in indian accent "come back tomorrow". jeez!
I asked for website. there is none.

I go back the next day. Door was open so I walked in.
There were some indian people there.
One of them was the boss introduced himself as anad prakash and gave me his card which only had his name and number on it. he said his brother is mogli prakash and sister is devi something.

I asked for a tour of his university. he took me in the back where there was a large room with some desks and a black board and smiled. So that's all it is. just a store with a room in the back with desks. I asked him how many students. he said there are many prospective students in hudreds.

I asked him about accreditation and he said its accredited by PM Modi of India.

I don't know what to make of this.

I'd like to find out about my options for an engineering technology bachelor's degree, preferably mechanical, but open to other options as long as the program is ABET accredited. I dropped out half way through my first semester of college ten years ago and did the pierpont aas bog 2 years ago.

Does anybody know if for tesu the 90credit transfer limit is for community college credit and study.com combined or individually? If i did 90 at a community college and another 24 at study.com would that be allowed? Thank you

Have hopefully a simple question. My son joined the air force. He has 55 credits from a local community college, he also has a private pilots license. TESU will give him about 9 credits for the pilots license. If he can show the Air Force he has over 60 credits he can go in as an E-3 rank. The question is if he transfers everything to TESU can he get a transcript for the Air Force right away prior to taking any TESU classes? This is not credit laundering, he intends to get a BA with TESU.

Hello! I transferred in 90 credits to UMPI, and my academic advisor gave me 3 different degree plans that I'm interested in. Which of these 3 degrees are the "easiest", and/ or least time consuming? I really just need any Bachelors, so if one of these is faster I'd definitely choose that one.
From what I've heard, the education classes aren't difficult per se, but can take a little while to work through. I'd be really grateful to hear your thoughts!

Hi internet friends, thought I'd share about my journey of completing a TESU CompSci undergrad and a WGU CompSci MS-AI in five months and $10k. This post has a step-by-step guide, my rationale & context, and if I think it's worth it. Below are the first two paragraphs:

Twenty years ago I dropped out of college to start my own business. In 2025, I enrolled and completed both an undergraduate and master’s degree in computer science as an intellectual pursuit. It took less than five months and cost approximately $10k by speedrunning accumulating credits. I’m pretty established in my career (e.g., L8/principal engineer in FANG), so this wasn’t about career advancement. It was about enjoying shifting my attention towards AI/ML.

And there was lots of enjoyment in this process. The structure provided by the programs with their clear-cut expectations led to satisfaction and up-leveled my skills. I remember happily wandering the green fields of the Capodimonte in Napoli eating a pizza while listening to audio lectures on American history thinking “it doesn’t get better than this”. Completing courses in a single day ticked a lot of my emotional-validation boxes. And these new technical skills I gained in machine learning turned out to be tremendously useful.

Hello, y'all. I've been looking into SNHU degrees and have a question about their general education. On SNHU's general education, it usually says to pick "1 of the following" and then lists specific courses. For example, for CSOJ in Foundational Courses, it asks you to pick IDS104, IDS105, or FYS101. However, I was checking the Degree Wiki for SNHU degree plans, and there it says that you can take Environmental Science from Sophia, and it would transfer as ENV101 and fulfill the CSOJ requirement. The same applies to some other sections. Can anybody who recently got into SNHU confirm that this works? Thank you.
