I'm looking at doing SNHU Geoscience eventually and wanted to knock out as many courses on Sophia as I possibly can. I'm looking at there transfer list and seeing that Sophia comes across as electives generally. 

If you look at the Gen Eds at SNHU, they have "buckets" of courses, and all of them have named courses.

Tuskegee University, the private land-grant historically Black university founded in 1881 by Booker T. Washington, is making its PhD in Integrative Public Policy and Development available online, Tuskegee’s first online doctorate.

I completed English Comp II with Sophia. I got it in credly and transferred it to TESU. TESU is telling me it doesn’t have an ACE badge? “ We recently received an official transcript from Credly for your ACE recommended coursework. Thomas Edison State University will accept in transfer most ACE reviewed courses/exams on the transcript that include both a badge from the offering organization as well as the ACE badge. Since there was no ACE badge included for the following courses on your Credly transcript, credit was not added to your record. Hi everyone,


My university is planning to retire its .edu email addresses for alumni, and I’ve been relying on mine for research conferences. Unfortunately, many conferences require a .edu email for registration or presentation purposes and do not accept personal email addresses.

Does anyone know of any universities that allow students to maintain an active .edu email address with minimal course enrollment—perhaps just a single credit hour per semester, and continue using it after graduation, possibly with alumni status?

My ultimate goal is to retain a valid .edu email address while meeting the minimum academic requirements to stay enrolled.

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone! I am looking at obtaining a bachelors (assuming a B.S) in a healthcare related field online (Health Sciences, Healthcare Administration, etc.) with my end goal being able to get into a Physician Assistant School (in-person). I'm mainly looking for recommendations on schools for the Bachelors aspect. 

I have over 10+ years in healthcare, so a lot of those classes I can work through fairly easy. I just started Sophia last week & knocked out Anatomy & Physiology I today & working on the lab class now along with lifespan development. My goal is to knock out most of my pre-reqs on Sophia & have maximum transfer credits into wherever. I'm aiming to finish 1 class/week.

I was looking at WGU's B.S. in Health Science & using the planner/guide another user posted in this, however, WGU only gives P/F grades, not letter grades, which would require me to go to a local institution to take some science courses again, as most PA schools require a specific Science GPA. 

My goal is to have my bachelors within about 18 months (since I'm not getting any younger).

Any recommendations for schools?

Hello all, 
I am currently a liberal studies student at TESU. Like a lot of people I have been able to complete the majority of the degree on Sophia.org and study.com. For career related reasons I am considering going for the BA in Political Science instead. I see study.com has some lower level courses for political science, but I cannot find sources for upper level political science courses anywhere. Has anyone here completed their PS degree at TESU and transferred in the upper level credits? Advice on this would be much appreciated! Part of me is also curious about the international relations degree, so if you know about that, please share.
