As stated, new to the UMPI world.  I've been eyeballing it for almost a year and finally applied.

I worked with PlottedPath on a plan toward the BBA but life happened and I did not finish 100% of my Sophia/Study/Straighterline reqs.  

I did get a large chunk of them in though so I'm shifting gears to the BLS with BusAdmin and Project Mgmt.

I'm bringing in a brick and mortar back ground and plenty of wasted credits from wasted years.  

Anyway - here is my question.  

What in the world should i expect with writing papers?  I think I've written may 10 papers in 20 years and nothing more than 3 pages of gibberish.
I remember doing some literally 20 years ago, but I have no clue how to even begin with that anymore.

How screwed am i going to be?

UoPeople's Bachelor of General Studies program is simply a watered down version of the business administration degree. The core reason anyone would want to be interested in a General Studies degree is that it would allow them to structure their credits from different sources into one proper degree. But the General Studies degrees lets you transfer in only 90 credits like the other UoPeople degrees, and an exhaustive list of 45 mandatory credits (15 courses) means that you will end up spending significant time completing your degree and studying the compulsory courses at UoPeople.

On top of that, the two pathways offered are mainstream business concentrations. The first is a degree focused on organizational behavior and the second is a degree with a concentration in HR. Even though you're spending most of your time studying for a business degree, you will still end up with a general studies degree, which is widely considered to be comparatively inferior.

UoPeople seems to not understand what to do with this program. It's neither flexible, nor is it distinct from other offerings at the university. You are getting a less valuable business degree in probably the same time or even more time as it would take you to complete a business administration degree.

I've been looking at Harvard's HES ALM degree for a couple of years, and I am interested. If someone wanted to complete, what would be the most efficient route? Would doing the Public Leadership Credential (PLC) first followed by enrolling in the ALM be the best way to do it?
