Hello! Based on other advice on the forum and also advice from my junior college, I transferred to TAMUC for Fall I.
I was torn a bit between using my AS in Criminal Justice for the Criminal Justice or General Studies CBE or my AAS in Medical Lab Technology for the Safety and Health or Health Services Administration. I am waiting to speak with TAMUC advisor to double check next week but I decided on the Safety and Health BAAS degree with the Criminal Justice BAAS degree a back-up option. I hope the meeting with the advisor will help me maximize my other credits but either way, I am super excited.
Note people needing the Texas Government credit:
I already took this class before ever visiting these forums. However, there are few options people may consider before taking it with TAMUC if the credit is too much. While not CBE based, many community colleges offer it online for eight or sixteen week sessions during the fall, spring, and summer sessions. If you need help, I can try to help you find it. My class for 16 weeks was $382. They also offer it in an eight week term that passes quickly. I thought this information may help if someone needs to "stretch" it out a bit longer.

Life's been busy. Haven't been here for a while. I'm trying to finally nail down a degree plan going forward, especially since Study.com has a great sale going on (to catch the last few credits before transferring them to TESU or Liberty)...
But I just pulled up my old bookmark for a page on Sophia that showed how TESU brought in their courses. The page no longer exists and I've seen mention that it's a gray area now.
So what's the current situation between Sophia and TESU? How do I determine exactly what spaces my Sophia credits fill?
Thanks for any help.

Hello everyone.
I have applied for BA CS at TESU and my credits have transferred successfully. I hope to complete 47 RA credits (15 courses) at TESU. I plan to complete it in one year while graduating with a very high GPA (Close to 4).
I have been working as a software engineer for 6 years. I think some of these courses might be easier for me (or maybe it won't be easy). I completed a 60-credit BA BA degree from UMPI in the previous four months and earned a 4.0 GPA. I currently have 20 hours a week to devote to TESU.
I currently have some questions I would like to ask:
How difficult is the CS program at TESU? On average, how many hours do I need to spend on each course? Is 20 hours a week enough to enable me to complete 5 or 4 courses per semester?
Also I would like to get ASNSM at the same time. Will taking some of these math courses from Sophia satisfy this associate degree?
Why is it that compared to WGU, SNHU. TESU doesn't seem to have as strong of community support, for example, WGU, and SNHU both have active reddit & discord study groups.
Thanks to everyone!
