What is the equivalency of ASU Mat-142 College Mathematics at TESU? It is not on the Wiki. I am guessing that it might be Mat-105 Applied Liberal Arts Math.

Also, does the CLEP College Math still come in as 6 credits (Mat-102 General Math I and Mat-103 General Math II)? I think I vaguely remember reading somewhere that you get less than 6 credits for it now. 

Last question: Our son is considering to take E-3 Quantitative Reasoning: Practical Math at Harvard Extension School. With the Lowell Scholarship for high schoolers, it would cost $500 for 4 credits (not cheap, I know, but useful for the experience). 

Does anybody want to take a guess of how it would come in at TESU?

Not sure if I am in the right sub form for this. But I have a very elementary question about Coopersmith. What are the exams like generally? Multiple choice? Essay? How long do they take?

I have a Bachelor in Computer Science, an MBA as well as a PhD in Business Administration, yet I want to keep learning and want to get a Bachelor in Psychology. After reading hours across this forum and the wiki, I think I got the "general understanding" how the concept works. But before I get started and enroll (likely with TESU), I would like to get the advice of the experts.

What kind of degree do you want?: Bachelor in Psychology (BA or BS, doesn't matter)
Current Regional Accredited Credits:
None, or rather, I'm not sure. I have ECTS Credits from my degrees in Europe / Germany. But I assume that Computer Science (Bachelor) and Business Administration (MBA and PHD) wouldn't allow me to transfer anything towards Psychology.
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits: none, see above.
Any certifications or military experience?: none
Budget: I really want to this to be as "cheap" as possible, ideally around 3k USD.
Commitments: I work full time and have a family.
Dedicated time to study: around 2 hours per day
Timeline: open ended - no problem if it takes more than a year or two or even three...
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: none

Cultural Diversity in the United States investigates and explains the cultural, racial, and ethnic diversities in the United States through the lens of sociological investigation. Using fundamental tools of sociological inquiry and cultural learning, students engage in a sociohistorical discovery of various waves of immigration, amalgamation, and assimilation to the United States. Political and policy initiatives that have affected diversity movements and the development of civil society in the United States are also examined.
Requisites:
This is an upper (300-400 level) level course and builds on the knowledge and skills of lower (100-200) level courses. Upper level courses usually require analysis, synthesis, and/or integration of knowledge and skills from several courses. Students should have successfully completed lower level courses in the Area of Study, Area of Study math requirements, and English Composition I and II prior to enrolling in an upper-level course. Students should have knowledge equivalent to an introductory sociology course. - Recommended to be taken either prior to or at the same time as this course, but is not required.

Looks like TESU accepts Sophia's and Study.com's as a LL Philosophy Course - PHI-1300 Introduction to Critical Reasoning.

For those who completed two bachelors at the same time at TESU: Was your 90 credit limit for ACE/NCCRS applied across the combined degrees or was it across each degree, one at a time?
[Resolved] It is currently a limit of 90 combined ACE/NCCRS across each individual degree.

Martin Luther College (MLC) in New Ulm, Minnesota, operated by the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS), is introducing a subscription-priced competency-based education program enrolling for Fall 2024. The target audience is adult learners seeking to become teachers especially in WELS schools.

The first component of the program is a theology education minor of six courses (18 credits). They state students will complete two courses in every 15-week term. Whether larger (or smaller) course loads per term are possible is not described in their announcement.

When the first cohort finishes this six-course sequence, MLC "hope[s] to have approval for the next component of the program, so they can seamlessly move ahead!"

Tuition is $1700 per term.

Hey guys, does anyone know if Sophia.org is still on Perkspot for any company? I found out my Instacart Shopper account is still active although I haven't used it in several years and they offer Perkspot to their Shoppers. I signed up for it through the link in the Shopper portal but did not see Sophia listed as an option. Is Sophia only available to certain companies or maybe not available at all anymore?

I just talked to a friend of mine.
He wants to get a BA.

I told him about UMPI.

He qualifies for a full Pell grant,
and full federal financial aid.

He is a dedicated hard worker!

So,
He wants to enroll at UMPI {your pace}

He wants to take
 12 credits for the fall session,
and 
12 credits for the spring session.

     My question is,
will these credits give him access to HIS full Pell grant and FA???

The way he had it figured,
he should have $4k+ per semester left over,
 for living expenses,
after paying tuition, etc

I looked at all his paperwork and college plans,
and it seems like this should work out as planned.

I was hoping someone here could let me know their opinion on this,
and any possible guidance????

 to get Sophia, 
Study, and Modern States credits.

hey all, i'm looking to make a plan to get a bachelors as quickly as possible, however i can only use 30 clep credits due to graduate school reqs. i cannot clep any of the STEM classes other than math. i need to have the following to apply to the masters/doctorate program in Tradtional Chinese Medicine:

intro to physics or conceptual physics
general biology (no lab req)
general chemistry (nursing or health aligned preferable)
intro to psychology
stats or college algebra

would be nice to have:
organic chem
inorganic chem
biochem
anthropology
public speaking


was looking at taking a few universal learner courses from ASU and doing a BA in psych with UMPI but i cannot seem to make this jive with the sciences i need. all advice is welcome and thanks in advance!
