  AFQOT and TBAS exam
Posted by: lucab617 - 12-05-2006, 02:34 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (2)

Hey everyone. I went down to the recruiting office today to take the AFOQT exam. I know this forum isn't for these types of exams, but I know alot of you guys and gals are in the armed services. I have a little more than a month to study for these exams. Does anyone recommend any particular study guide for these exams? I really want to become a fighter pilot and I need to do really well on these exams. If someone could help, I would greatly appreciate it.

I've completed CLEP Intro to Business Law. I'd like to continue while I'm in that frame of mind and take DSST Business Law II.

Any suggestions on study material would be appreciated from those who have successfully past.

DSST - Here's to Your Health
Posted by: csmitty123 - 12-04-2006, 09:53 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (3)

Hi everybody! I'm getting ready to take the DSST Here's to Your Health. I was just wondering if anyone out there has had any experiences with it. Was it hard? Easy? Does anyone know of a good study guide? Any info at all on this test would be greatly appreciated. This is the last test I need to pass before I finish up my BS/BA so I don't want to take any chances with it. Thanks in advance for the help.

Which tests do you think were easiest?
Posted by: Mango122784 - 12-03-2006, 02:07 AM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (1)

Hello all. I've been lurking for a few weeks and finally decided to spit it out.. what do you think has been the easiest test so far? I've read that some think here's to your health and sociology are somewhat easy (maybe psychology too).

*I'd like to start out taking an easy one to build up my confidence for when I take any hard ones:p

  Macroeconomics questions
Posted by: LuBee - 12-02-2006, 07:39 AM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (6)

I've looked over previous posts about the Macroeconomics CLEP and I read mixed opinions about it's difficulty.

For those who found it difficult, was it because the content was a surprise, or because it is math oriented, or something else?

For those that did well on the test what did you attribute that to?

Were there questions where you had to read graphs? Did you have to know the abbrevations, like AD, SAS, etc... ?

Right now I am starting off with InstantCert and I plan on looking at some of the other sites that were recommended in this forum. But as I'm reading the IC flashcards I feel like a lot of the material and concepts are new to me and the info keeps popping out of my brain. Has anyone had this feeling with economics and did you eventually grab ahold of the concepts presented in the IC cards?

I know that these are a lot of questions, but I would be grateful for any help.

  Intro to Psychology on Monday
Posted by: lucab617 - 11-30-2006, 10:21 PM - Forum: General Education-Related Discussion - Replies (11)

Hey everyone, I was studying the IC Intro to Psychology flash cards this week and after studying I decided to take the REA Tests to see how I would do. I didn't do well on them, so I decided to buy the online Test Sample that you can buy for $10. I didn't do great on it either. I am beginning to doubt how I will do on it monday. Does anyone have any suggestions on this exam and how it panned out for yourself. I understand the material when I read it, but when it comes to deciding which of the 5 is best I don't do as well. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
